Whiting Public Library Program - The Korean War

Learn more about the Korean War on Saturday, March 9 at 2 pm when historian Jim Gibbons will discuss the events that took place before, during and after the Korean War. Gibbons will discuss the combat and bombings which occurred as well as explain how, although an armistice to end the war was signed in 1953, no peace treaty was ever signed, causing both sides to technically still be at war today. The program will take place in the meeting room (lower level) of the Whiting Library. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
